Our History

A White Pond Paradise Salon & Day Spa opened in March of 2001 as the result of the expansion of Akron Centre Hairstyling.  Akron Centre Hairstyling was owned and operated by Patty Lucas for 12 years before the expansion.  Acquiring her Managing Cosmetologist and Instructor's License in 1986 then adding her Barber's License in 1987, Patty has over 20 years of experience in providing hair designs to both men and women.  Complementing these credentials, Patty is also a Licensed Esthetician with certifications in Microdermabrasion.  New Hair Designers and Estheticians mentor under Patty and her 20+ years of experience so we can ensure that you get the highest quality services you expect and deserve.

In August of 2002, we expanded again to add more styling stations and larger treatment rooms.  A White Pond Paradise Salon & Day Spa is a full service salon and day spa with salon services including: hair coloring, cutting, texturing and styling and with spa services including: body treatments, a full array of hydrotherapy treatments, massage therapy, skin care including microdermabrasion, full body waxing and manicures and pedicures.  When you're "in between services", we have several relaxation areas for you to further unwind.  What should you try first?  There are several spa packages to choose from and bride/groom packages are also available.  You can view our brochure at the link below.  Again, our goal is to provide you with a relaxed atmosphere and advise you on how to best achieve your individual health, beauty and wellness needs.

A White Pond Paradise Salon & Day Spa is a member of the Better Business Bureau and The Day Spa Association.  We are a very community conscious company participating in the "Keep Akron Beautiful" program and providing various donations to local charities and area school systems.  We will always support events that help improve our community and hope you will as well.
